Honor Vets Flight

Honor Vets Flight is a non-profit organization primarily being created
to bring Veterans of all the past wars to Washington, D.C. to tour
their monuments and visit the memorials that were created for
them.

Veterans of all services are welcome to come with us to visit the
memorials dedicated to their service at any time. We welcome
veterans from WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Please contact Alan
Mainer for information and time schedules for up-coming trips.

Honor Vets Flight Home

If you, or someone you know, is a surviving
veteran of WWII, and currently living in McDowell
County, N.C., please submit your name or the
name of the veteran, address and phone number
where you, or the veteran, can be reached, to
CVSO, (County Veterans Services Officer), 100
Spaulding Road, Marion, N.C. 28752. Please do
this in writing and not by telephone so an
accurate record may be kept. This information
will remain private and only used in recognition
for awards and activities for the veterans. Soon
after submission of this information, a letter will
be sent to inform the veteran of future activity
along with a questionnaire concerning the trip to
Washington, D.C. This website address will be on
the information mailed so you can stay up to date
on current and future activities.
